After a long absence from the roman scene, back to tread the boards, the quartet led by Caterina Palazzi, which will be on show at the Space Theatre, Sunday 1 April, at the event Space Jazz. The Quartet has distinguished itself in 2011 to great success at Jazzit Award in which Catherine Palazzi was voted the best first Italian composer and bass player as the fifth best Italian. The Quartet, however, has been elected as the fourth best band in Italy in 2011 and again in 2012. The album < Sudoku Killer > has been elected as the second best Italian album.
The result, therefore, is a record in which the different spirits emerge Catherine's love for literature, that for the film, up to the Gothic tradition typical of Northern Europe. To complete the formation Danielle Di Majo on alto saxophone, Giacomo Ancillotto on the guitar and Maurizio Chiavaro on drums, musicians from related and complementary artistic experiences, ranging from rock to classical music of the twentieth century. The shared passion for jazz and improvised music are the common expressive territory and the source from which this line draws its inspiration.
